Born and native of Israel, Mrs. Zamir graduated at the Royal Music Academy in The Hague Holland and holds a Bachelor of Music.

Her main operatic repertoire includes:

Santuzza (Cavalleria Rusticana,  December 2011, Israeli opera), Sieglinde (Walküre) in Shanghai and Guangzhou, China 2013,Gioachino Rossini's Petite messe solennelle 2014,   and Ariadne (Ariadne auf Naxos 2009 Israeli opera), Rosalinde (Die Fledermaus), Tosca , Die Marschallin (Rosenkavalier), Giorgetta (Il Tabarro), Suor Angelica (title role ,2005 Holland).

Edit Zamir is also active as concert and Oratorio singer with  repertoire including: Lieder Eines Fahrenden Gesellen, Rückert Lieder, Des Knaben Wundernhorn (Mahler), Frauenliebe und leben (Schumann), Lieder of R. Strauss, Wesendonck Lieder (Wagner), Petite messe solennelle (Rossini), Magnificat (Bach, Chamber Orchestra, Israel), Deutsches Requiem (Brahms).
