Dan Ettinger last engagemnts included CD recordings with Diana Damrau and the BR-Rundfunkorchester (for EMI-Virgin Classics) & a recording with Adrienne Pieczonka and the BR-Rundfunkorchester (for ORFEO). At the Berlin Staatoper: MACBETH, AIDA, CARMEN, ZAUBERFLÖTE, and TRAVIATA and the RING cycle (RHEINGOLD+ WALKÜRE) at the New National Theater in Tokio 2009. With the Bayerischen Staatsoper CARMEN (2008/09) and TRAVIATA (2009/10). At the Wiener Staatsoper ITALIANA IN ALGERI
In September 2009 he will debut at the New Yorker METropolitan Opera Le NOZZE DI FIGARO, and the second part of teh Ring cycle SIEGFRIED & GÖTTERDÄMMERUNG) in Tokyo. In 2010 debut in London's Covent Garden Opera with RIGOLETTO and in 2011 AIDA at the Wiener Staatsoper.

in 2007-2008 Ettinger conducted in a Tokyo a new production of FALSTAFF und in April 2008 FREISCHÜTZ.
In November 2007 he gave his debut at the Wiener Staatsoper with L'elisir d'amore and in September 2008 at the Washington National Opera with La TRAVIATA

Sseason 2006-2007 Ettinger returned to Tokyo New National Theater for Idomeneo, and a revival of Falstaff, concert series with Tokyo Philharmonic, a concert with Halle Symphony Orchestra, and Cosi fan Tutte at the Israeli Opera. At the Staatsoper Berlin he conducts L'Elisir d’Amore, Aida, Die Zauberflöte, Falstaff, Madama Butterfly, Le Nozze di Figaro, and symphonic concerts as Music Director of the Israel Symphony Orchestra.

2005-2006 season included engagements such as Rigoletto at the Hamburg Opera, Madama Butterfly with the LA Opera, Zauberflöte with the Israeli Opera and and series of concerts with Israel Symphony Orchestra, and at the Staatsoper Berlin Die Zauberflöte, Cosi fan Tutte, La Bohème, Turandot, Tosca, & Carmen & concert series with Tokyo Philharmonic and Zauberflöte at the Israeli Opera. .
2004-2005 season include many new productions and debut performances such as: January/February 2005 Mr. Ettinger's USA debut with the Los Angeles Opera conducting Aida. In March 2005 Ettinger conducted again at the New National Theater Tokyo Cosi fan Tutte and a concert series with the Tokyo Philharmonic (conductor soloist) . The
Deutsches Kammerorchester at the Berlin Philharmonie and with the Staatsoper "Unter den Linden", Berlin Nozze di Figaro, Don Giovanni, Tosca, Turandot, L'Elisir d’Amore, La Traviata, Tannhäuser and Carmen.
With The Israel Symphony Orchestra (Rishon Le'Zion) performed 2004-2005 as conductor-soloist Mozart - Piano concerto No. 21, Strauss - Vier letzte Lieder, and Mussorgsky Pictures at an Exhibition and with Cellist Mischa Maisky a program including Rococo variations and Haydn Cello concerto.

In 2003-2004, Mo Ettinger performed at the Staatsoper Berlin works such as Turandot, L'Elisir d’Amore, Nozze di Figaro, La Traviata, and La Bohème. Tosca at the Israeli Opera (March-April 04) was followed by an engagements at the Tokyo New National Theater, where he premiered Falstaff in June/July 2004.

Mo Ettinger's 2002-2003 season included The debut concerts with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra were received with great public and critic acclaim. Opera North, Leeds (UK) (Tosca), several programs with the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra (October, December, March, and June), three opera productions at the New Israeli Opera, a concert series with the Israel Symphony Orchestra (February), and more. Mo Ettinger premiered La Belle Hélène and Nabucco in the Israeli Opera, and conducted Eugene Onegin and Aida.

Operatic engagements for 2001-2002 with the New Israeli Opera included La Traviata, Die Fledermaus, Carmen, and with Opera North Leeds - UK, La Bohème

Since the beginning of the 1999-2000 season, Mr. Ettinger was Conductor in Residence of the New Israeli Opera. During that season, Dan Ettinger conducted Donizetti's Don Pasquale and Rossini's L'Italiana in Algieri to great public and critic acclaim. In the 2000-2001 season, Dan Ettinger was contracted for performances of Mozart's Don Giovanni, Magic Flute, as well as Bellini's Norma.

Since his debut with the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra (December 1999) Dan Ettinger conducted the orchestra regularly in various symphonic and liturgical programs. During 2002-2003 he served as Chief Guest Conductor of the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra and performed as a soloist, playing and conducting Mozart & Haydn concerti from the piano in numerous concerts.


As a Baritone, Dan Ettinger made his major debut with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra in April 1993, performing Mahler's Lieder eines fahrenden Gesellen (Songs of a Wayfarer). Dan Ettinger's major roles have included Papageno in The Magic Flute, Figaro in Il Barbiere di Seviglia, Don Giovanni & Masetto in Don Giovanni, Lescaut in Manon, Albert in Werther, Ottone in Monteverdi's "L'incoronazione di Poppea", Marullo in Rigoletto, Silvano in Un Ballo in Maschera, Hermann and Schlemil in Offenbach's "The Tales of Hoffmann", Demetrius and Starveling in Britten's A Midsummer Night's Dream, Farfarello in Prokofiev's The Love for Three Oranges, Dancairo in Carmen, and Marquese D'Obigny in La Traviata.

Mr. Ettinger is an accomplished pianist, accompanist and coach, and was a faculty member of the Rubin Academy of Music in Jerusalem and the Tel Aviv University.
